MacBook power use about 300 watts, about 7 cents, per day
I used an EcoWatt to measure the amount of electricity used by my MacBook over a 10 day period. During this period, I used it to watch a DVD and watched many videos online. Total electricity for 10 days was about 3 kW, which is about 70 cents at current rates. That would mean about 110 kW per year, about 26 dollars per year.
